Franklin Avenue Shelter

Next Steps Rooted in Holistic Care

Healing Through Connection, Not Just Recovery

The Franklin Avenue Shelter, our intermediate housing program, provides a safe place to stay along with essential, on-site support through regular check-ins, case management, and an on-site nurse. Whether residents need assistance with housing, healthcare, or daily needs, our team is present to ensure they feel seen, supported, and cared for.

As a low-barrier, referral-based shelter, we offer wrap-around services in partnership with trusted community organizations. Through peer support, daily dinners, and trauma-informed care, we foster an environment rooted in safety, connection, and unconditional love. The Franklin Avenue Shelter serves as a steady next step toward healing and independent living.

Pathways to Staying With Us:

Access to the Franklin Avenue Shelter is organized through the Coordinated Entry System (CES), which helps connect people to housing and shelter options across Central Oregon. We offer private and semi-private rooms for both individuals and families.

If you’re already working with a service provider, they can make a referral for you through CES. If not, you’re still welcome to reach out directly. You can call the CES hotline at 541-630-2533 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00pm–4:00pm to get started.

Individual Housing

Our individual housing units offer intermediate residence for medically vulnerable adults and focused support through regular check-ins, case management, and partnership with our on-site nurse.

Family Housing

Our family units provide stable, intermediate housing and continuous support for families in hardship. We walk alongside them, helping them with their next steps and ensuring they never feel alone.
