How Can Kids Get Involved?

We believe compassion can be learned at any age. While most volunteer roles at Shepherd’s House are reserved for adults, there are meaningful ways for kids and families to support our mission.

Kids can get involved by:

Helping collect needed items through school, church, or neighborhood drives
Creating cards or encouragement notes for guests and staff
Participating in age-appropriate service projects with a parent or guardian
Learning about homelessness and housing insecurity and sharing that awareness with others
